Before the pressed honeycomb core material is used in the sandwich structure, the paper cutter is used to cut the core material into strips of certain width according to the height of the required core material, and then the honeycomb core material is stretched to the shape of honeycomb lattice, placed in the dip tank, and soaked with the appropriate concentration of dip resin for 1 to 2 minutes. The honeycomb wall material must be soaked, and multiple impregnations can be used to control a certain volume weight and strength.
After impregnation, it can be used for dry molding of sandwich structure after heating and curing on the flat plate or molding mold as required. The core material impregnated with polyester resin system can be directly used for sandwich structure (wet molding) after impregnation and curing.
When manufacturing large-area or special-shaped products, in order to meet the requirements of overall dimensions, sometimes splicing is required. A small amount of glue can be applied to the splice, and fixed with clamps (heated or without heating) to apply pressure. The glue can be cured.
