When the height of honeycomb increases, the bulk density of core material decreases, the compressive strength decreases, but the bending stiffness increases. The height of the honeycomb shall be selected according to the requirements of the parts. The height generally used is 15~20 mm. When blanking, taking into account the pressure during forming and the influence of other factors, it is often selected to be 1~1.5mm higher than the design height.
