Rock wool board, also known as rock wool thermal insulation decorative board, is an inorganic fiber board made of basalt as the main raw material and processed by high-temperature melting. Rock wool board was successfully tested in June 1981 as a new type of thermal insulation, flame insulation and sound absorption material.
The artificial inorganic fiber made from the rock wool board through high temperature melting and processing has the characteristics of light weight, small thermal conductivity, heat absorption and incombustibility. The initial development is a common application type in buildings, mostly used in industrial buildings. It should comply with the provisions of the Application Type and Basic Requirements of Building Thermal Insulation Materials.
